FILA HOUSE Signage On-Site Setting Out: Upholding "Exquisite Craftsmanship" to Honor "Premium Sport Fashion"

As the world’s first FILA lifestyle hotel, FILA HOUSE is located in Shanghai West Hongqiao Business District and forms a key component of the ANTA Group Global Retail Headquarters (Shanghai ANTA Center). The hotel stands 10 stories high with a construction area of 11,946 square meters, planning to feature 120 guest rooms, together with an all-day dining restaurant, members’ lounge, multi-functional conference spaces, fitness center and indoor swimming pool.


With FILA HOUSE entering the critical phase of interior and exterior decoration, the signage project undertaken by us has officially kicked off on-site setting out. In high-end hotel construction, the signage system is often regarded as the "finishing touch". However, subtle discrepancies often exist between 2D annotations on drawings and the actual spatial perception in 3D environments. Will a sign’s height block sightlines? Does a room number plate’s scale coordinate with wall dimensions? Is the viewing angle of a general floor plan aligned with guests’ walking paths? Such issues can hardly be fully predicted through drawing deduction alone.



To this end, adhering to the rigorous process of "trial placement first, production later", we have fully launched on-site signage setting out. The core purpose of setting out is to transform abstract drawing dimensions into real 3D spatial experiences.
On site, our engineering team, in accordance with detailed design drawings, uses temporary materials or lightweight templates to conduct 1:1 on-site simulated positioning for all key signage inside and outside the hotel – including but not limited to lobby wayfinding signs, floor directories, room number plates, functional facility signage, and warning & informational signs.



Within FILA HOUSE, a space blending sporting passion and lifestyle aesthetics, signage may seem inconspicuous yet serves as an invisible link connecting the one-stop experience of "accommodation, catering, sports, conferences, retail and exhibitions".
Through this refined setting out campaign, we strive to minimize potential rework risks before the official opening of the project and avoid huge losses caused by improper positioning or dimensional deviations in the later stage. This is not only a responsibility for project costs but also a commitment to the overall quality of FILA HOUSE.
