ZIGO Delivers a Complete Signage System for Marriott Hotel Beijing

ZIGO has recently completed the production and delivery of the signage project for Marriott Hotel Beijing. The scope covers the hotel's complete wayfinding and branding system, from outdoor architectural illuminated letters and lobby brand signage to floor directories, elevator lobby indicators, room number plates, and various functional signs.

As an international hotel group, Marriott enforces strict brand standards — typefaces, colors, proportions, and installation positions all follow precise specifications. Signage must not only look good but also withstand years of continuous operation, routine cleaning, and close inspection by guests. With nearly 30 years of experience serving Marriott, IHG, Hyatt, MGM and other international brands, ZIGO has developed a mature workflow for meeting these standards.

A few highlights from this project:

First, the craftsmanship of the outdoor illuminated letters. Rooftop letters face constant sun and weather exposure, and panel aging, LED color degradation, and seal failure are the three most common problems. For this project, we used 316L stainless steel for the letter housings with fluorocarbon coating, ensuring the surface keeps its color for a decade. The LED modules use high-color-rendering light sources — clean metallic letter shells by day, and uniform, shadow-free illumination at night.

Second, material consistency across all interior signage. Guests judge a hotel by the quality of the whole building, not individual signs. We fabricated every interior sign to the same standard — brushed stainless steel with electroplating, and 316-grade fasteners throughout to prevent rust bleeding down walls. The lobby's main signs received more refined treatment with layered lighting, harmonizing with the lobby's interior design.

Third, installation coordination. The hardest part of hotel signage isn't production — it's the site work. For an operating hotel, working hours, noise, and dust are all tightly restricted. Our installation team conducted on-site surveys and point-by-point verification with the hotel's engineering department before installation, completing most work at night without disrupting hotel operations.

Fourth, after-sales service. Delivery is not the end. We provided a complete maintenance manual covering cleaning methods, LED inspection cycles, and a spare module inventory list, plus on-site repair service during the warranty period.
