Financial City Hotel Chengdu, MGallery Collection is pleased to announce the successful completion of its signage and wayfinding system — marking another significant milestone in the hotel's pre-opening preparations. The newly installed signage covers the hotel's entrance monument sign, lobby wayfinding, elevator floor directories, guestroom number signs, dining and function room signage, and restroom signage, collectively reflecting the hotel's design language of contemporary elegance infused with Eastern refinement.
As a key addition to Accor’s upscale lifestyle brand MGallery Collection in Chengdu, the hotel features a distinctive design identity that blends French-inspired aesthetics with local culture, offering guests a stay experience rich in artistic character and sense of place. Positioned as an upscale urban business-and-leisure property, the hotel is located in the core business district of Chengdu’s Financial City, catering primarily to business travelers in the area while also serving leisure guests from surrounding commercial districts. The hotel is scheduled to officially open in the third quarter of 2026.
Entrance monument sign: The stone monument at the hotel's main entrance has been installed, displaying the hotel name in Chinese and English. Metal lettering crafted from metal with a refined finish complements the textured stone façade and creates a dignified first impression.
Lobby and elevator floor wayfinding: Wayfinding signage in the lobby and elevator halls is now in place, clearly directing guests to the hotel lobby, office, and retail areas. The elevator floor information signs, set on green stone with etched metal detailing, present each floor’s facilities — including guestrooms, the hotel lobby, M Bar, Sky Garden, Lychee All Day Dining, Jinhui Function Room, the gym, and Jinxiu VIP Room — combining clear functionality with refined craftsmanship.
Guestroom number signs: Guestroom number signs across all floors have been fully installed, finished in an antiqued bronze metal tone with warm white illumination and integrated "Do Not Disturb / Please Service My Room" call-light indicators, offering both practicality and a refined tactile quality.
Dining and Function Room Signage The " LYCHEE ALL DAY DINING" sign, featuring sculptural lychee-inspired lettering with a vivid red lychee fruit accent and illuminated cut-out characters, has been installed on the 7th floor dining area, offering strong visual identity and artistic character. Function room signage for Crape Myrtle, Green Bamboo, and Red Tangerine has also been completed, featuring gold-etched lettering on a dark backing plate that echoes the hotel's overall Eastern-inspired aesthetic.
Restroom and accessibility signage: Restroom signage, including accessibility symbols, has been installed on all applicable floors, featuring a clean, contemporary form that balances usability and visual appeal.
The wayfinding system reflects the hotel’s distinct identity — blending French-inspired luxury with local cultural elements — ensuring brand consistency while enhancing sense of place through materiality and detailing. Materials, tones, and craftsmanship (such as antiqued bronze metal, green stone panels, and gold etching) echo the hotel's overall interior design and enhance the guest experience.
