ANTA Shanghai Campus Wayfinding Signs Installed by ZIGO

Following the entrance signage, ZIGO has finished installing the outdoor wayfinding system for ANTA Group's Shanghai headquarters campus. These signs sit at key points across the campus and answer the questions visitors ask most: which way to Block 1, where the FILA HOUSE hotel is, where to find dining and retail.

The campus architecture is all flowing curves, so a boxy standard sign would look out of place. Every totem in this batch follows the building's language: curved faces, rounded corners, brushed stainless steel — from a distance, the signs and the facade read as one set.

Information layout is the core of wayfinding design. Each sign carries several levels: a red arrow at the top for direction, main destinations in the middle — Block 1, FILA HOUSE, PURE Yoga & Fitness — then Block 2-4, Riverside Green Space, Sunken Plaza, Catering, and Commercial. Every entry is bilingual, with type sizes scaled by importance, so a visitor finds what they need in a second or two instead of reading top to bottom.

Installation had its tricky part. Several signs stand right next to the sunken plaza, where the landscape railing is made of colorful gradient glass. The crew had to avoid touching the glass while fixing the bases on the circular pool edge. We worked with the site team on timing and lifting paths, went in during low-traffic hours, and set the bases with ballast plus anchor bolts in one pass.

Wayfinding is detail work. One sign alone isn't complicated — the difficulty is keeping dozens consistent in wording, color, and position against the master plan. Every entry and arrow in this batch was checked line by line against the campus master plan, because nothing hurts the experience more than a sign pointing the wrong way.

If you're working on a campus, mixed-use, or commercial project and need a wayfinding system, get in touch. Send us your master plan and we'll work out the plan with you. ZIGO has focused on signage manufacturing for nearly 30 years — design development, production, and installation in one place.
